Transportation
There several methods of transportation to get to Tamarindo from both Liberia and San Jose. Liberia is one hour by car/taxi. There are several rental car companies at the airport. You can also take a bus or a shuttle.
By private bus: there is a bus leaving San Jose at 7:00 A.M. or another at 2:00 P.M. The trip takes 5 hours and the cost is $29 pp. You can reserve by Internet ( www.interbusonline.com )
By rent a car: You can rent a car at the airport in San Jose and leave it in Tamarindo (Alamo rent a car, Adobe rent a car or Economy rent a car).or return it in San Jose. Price is between $30/70 a day. If you rent a car it will be better to drive through the ''Puente de la Amistad then drive to Nicoya then Santa Cruz then to Tamarindo.
By airplane: the ticket costs $90 one way. You can reserve the tickets by Internet ( www.flysansa.com )

Directions to Hotel Arco Iris
When you enter Tamarindo you will pass the Diria Hotel. Turn left on the first street you see as you pass the Diria Hotel. Proceed until you come to an intersection and turn left. Next turn right, at the first street, you can turn right on (approximately 300 meters). Drive 50 meters, turn right and you will see the sign for our hotel.
