Tamarindo is the only town in Costa Rica surrounded by a national park -"Las Baulas de Guanacaste Marine Park," created to protect the nesting grounds of the enormous leatherback turtle. Tamarindo has a wide variety of activities including surf schools, fishing, ATV's, horses, snorkeling and boat tours of the National Park.
In the evening visitors in Tamarindo have many dining choices offering a variety of local and international cuisines. After dinner Tamarindo offers many choices for nightlife, from salsa dancing to rock and roll that offer travelers of all ages the enjoyment they had hoped to find.

Formerly at Pachanga Restaurant in Tamarindo, Shlomy was Trained as a Cordon Bleu Chef in Paris.
